Open CCMS
Go to the official Customer Complaint Management System portal and select "Register Complaint."
Verify your identity
Enter your reference number, consumer ID, or registered mobile number to pull up your connection details.
Describe the issue
Select the complaint category and add clear details — the more specific, the faster it's routed correctly.
Submit & save your ID
You'll receive a tracking number — save it. Subdivision staff typically call within 15 minutes to confirm.
Check your complaint status
Enter your tracking number, reference number, or CNIC to jump to the official CCMS status page.
How to escalate your complaint
If your issue passes the expected resolution window without progress.
Visit your subdivision office in person. Bring your printed bill, CNIC copy, and complaint tracking number. Ask to speak directly with the SDO or Assistant Manager.
File a follow-up complaint. Reference your original tracking number so it's linked to the same case rather than starting from scratch.
Escalate to NEPRA. If MEPCO's internal process genuinely stalls, NEPRA (the regulator) accepts consumer complaints against distribution companies directly.
Complaint process, answered
You can register a complaint online through the CCMS (Customer Complaint Management System) portal using your reference number, consumer ID, or CNIC, by calling the MEPCO helpline at 118 or 0800-63726, or by visiting your local Customer Facilitation Center in person.
MEPCO typically acknowledges complaints within 24 hours. Simple technical faults or supply issues are often resolved within 1 to 2 days, while billing or meter-related complaints can take roughly 7 to 15 days depending on complexity.
Use your complaint tracking number or reference number on the CCMS portal's tracking page, or call the MEPCO helpline at 118 and provide your reference number for a status update.
If your issue remains unresolved, you can visit your local subdivision office and ask to speak with the SDO or Assistant Manager, file a follow-up complaint referencing your original ticket number, or escalate to NEPRA if the delay persists.
Call the dedicated anti-theft helpline and provide the location, meter number if known, and details of the suspected theft. You are not required to give your identity if you prefer to remain anonymous.
Save everything. Keep your tracking number, screenshots, and any call reference IDs until your issue is fully resolved and reflected on a following bill — this makes escalation much faster if needed.
